Paddendum Newsletter
A clinician and author with a passion for sexual and reproductive health and justice.
A newsletter committed to sharing SRHJ information.
A vision of a world where every person has the opportunity to be a sexually healthy and frequently joyous human being.
“Paddendum” is a mash-up of the words ‘pudendum’ meaning external genitalia (derived from the Latin, pudere, meaning to be ashamed), and ‘addendum’ meaning “I have more to say about that!”
I browse the web to keep you up-to-date with the changing landscape of sexual and reproductive health. You can sign up to receive, free of charge, my monthly e-newsletter called Paddendum. In return, I will engage and entertain you with my sometimes irreverent take on topics that might be of interest to you like the STI epidemic, the culture around reproductive health and health inequities, the history of reproductive health care, and the biology of STIs. At the very least it will distract you from the overwhelming amount of news about politics, COVID-19, and celebrities.
You can access a recent copy of the newsletter by clicking the link below.
Or, take the plunge and sign up to receive the monthly newsletter in your inbox for free! You won’t regret it (and there’s an Unsubscribe on every issue if you do).

Previous issues included my blogs on Sperm, Is It STI or STD?, and Women and Weed, plus book, podcast, and resource recommendations on addiction, birth control, health, travel, and little known women in history, plus news highlights about period poverty, domestic violence, sitcoms, HPV, and Amanda Gorman
